He completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Velez is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practitioners, the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, and the American College of Sports Medicine.
